after leading the republican field since july... donald trump finds ben carson pulling even with him in the latest national nbc news online poll conducted by survey monkey. carson and trump each have 26 percent support. cruz climbed into third place with ten percent support.. the first time he's hit double digits since after the first republican debate this summer. senator marco rubio is almost even with cruz.. at nine percent. jeb bush is at five percent while carly fiorina is at four. several presidential campaigns are at the annual latino leadership banquet this evening. it is a kickoff to the group's

this morning. it happened near the intersection of oakcrest avenue and 290th street in rural madison county around 5 this morning. police say when they arrived, the driver 60-year-old paul warren shafer was found dead at the scene.

they say he was driving a jeep wrangler. the crash is still under investigation. the dallas county sheriff's office is investigating a series of phone scams. they say people are posing as sheriff's deputies. the impersonators are telling residents in order to avoid arrest they must give them their pay pal account information. if you have received any calls from them....you are urged to take notes, hang up and contact police. today parents could take their kids to the science center to touch and feel creepy crawlers. kids could go trick or treating around the building or touch reptiles such as snakes and turtles. there were even superheros there for kids to take pictures with. and today was the first day the science center opened the geometry playground. 12:123:17:26-12:13:31:05 "the center piece of it all is really awesome...it's called the gyroid...its a ten foot climbing structure...that kids can get up in and climb all around....just be really

in egypt this morning. egyptian officials say both black box recorders have been recovered from the wreckage from the plane. ron mott has the latest. russian air carrier metrojet .. flight 9268 .. crashed this morning about 25 minutes after departure from sharm-el-sheikh egypt .. the wreckage located in the north sinai peninsula of the country. officials say there were no survivors .. all 224 people aboard died .. all but three of them russian citizens

the plane was an airbus a-321 that was 18 years old and was bringing russian vacationers back home on a charter flight .. to st petersburg .. when it disappeared from radar. russian and egyptian authorities will conduct a joint investigation. according to flight radar-24 .. the plane was descending at a rate of 6-thousand feet a minute when its radar signal was lost .. and had slowed dramatically from 400-plus knots down to just 62 knots in the final moments before radar contact was severed. the associated press .. quoting an egyptian aviation official .. said the pilot made a distress call .. reporting a technical problem of some kind .. and announced his intentions to land at the nearest airport. there were some initial hopes of survivors .. and as a result .. nearly 50 ambulances were sent to the crash scene .. but in the end none of them was needed for that purpose. "my child called me, he was on holiday with his family. my son, his wife and daughter. their daughter is 10 months old, she's my granddaughter." as friends and families of
